Women’s Spa Day and Retreat - Saturday, April 28th - 9:00am-2:00pm

WORKSHOPS

  • Intro to Sewing Quilting - Wednesday afternoon - Sewing & quilting classes for beginners or advanced students. Quilting expert Nancy Gay is available to show you the basics, advanced tips & tricks for your sewing & quilting projects. We’ll provide sewing machines to use & all the necessary materials.
  • Book Club - Monday, April 16th - This month’s selection is “Have a Little Faith” by Mitch Album (author of Tuesdays with Morrie).

FOR MEN

  • March Madness - Saturday, March 31st - March Madness for Men only. Game Food and Basketball Playoffs on the big screen TV. It doesn’t get any better than this!
  • Gilda’s Diner - Saturday, April 21st - Breakfast, Newspaper & Conversation.

CHILDREN & TEEN

  • Kids Support - Wednesday evenings- Peer support group for children impacted by cancer.
  • Mom & Tots - Thursday mornings- For young moms, playtime with the little ones in Noogieland. We’ll have a light lunch for everyone & then they’ll be ready for their afternoon naps at home!
  • Parents & Kids Together- Monday, April 16th - Parents & Kids together is designed to strengthen families impacted by cancer. The goal is to strengthen communication, coping skills & provide support for all family members. Families will participate in a community dinner & then split off into specially designed groups for parents and for youth.
  • Teen Coffee Shop- Monday, April 23rd - New for Teens! Bring a buddy, catch up with your friends & check out our new espresso machine. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available...plus coffee shop snacks.

ART CLASSES

  • Jewelry- Monday, April 9th & Tuesday, April 17th- Beginners & seasoned beaders are welcome to come create something from our lovely beads.
  • Open Art Room- Thursday, April 5th &19th- The art room is open to work on whatever the muse inspires. Annette is on hand to help get you started.
  • Glass Painting- Monday, April 2nd & Thursday, April 12th- Paint on a glass plate, wine glass, candle stick. Fun & simple to do.
  • Acrylic Painting- Tuesday, April 24th - Learn to paint with Acrylics. It’s so much fun, really, REALLY!

EXERCISE CLASSES

  • Tai Chi/Qigong - Monday evenings - This class is designed by Dr. Annemarie Groth-Juncker to improve health, function and well- being for those with cancer, chronic health problems, or for those feeling tired /stressed.
  • Wii Bowling- Thursday, April 5th & 19th - Bowling fun with Gilda’s gang of kingpins! RSVP
  • Wii Fit- We now have the new Wii Fit program. It can be used for exercise anytime the clubhouse is open. Please RSVP the first time you plan to come & we’ll give you intructions on how to use it.
  • Wii Zumba - Thursdays, April 12th & 26th- Join Tanya for this fun new Wii exercise program.

GILDA’S PICNIC

  • Wednesday, May 23rd - Join us for the first picnic of the summer! Hot Dogs! Hamburgers! Mac Salad! No ants allowed!

  • Healthy Eating -Thursday, May 10th - Healthy cooking & eating with Chef Ellen Adams from Tops Food Market

  • Spring Tussy Mussy- Tuesday, Mary 8th or 29th- “Tussy Mussy” is a petite bouquet of flowers. we’ll put it in a decorative container for some small nook in your home, or to give as a gift.
  • Open Art Room- Tuesday, May 15th and Friday, Mary 18th- The art room is open to work on whatever the muse inspires. Annette is on hand to help get you started.
  • Acrylic Painting- Tuesday, May 22nd- Release your inner artist! Have fun with painting on canvas.
  • Art Day- Thursday, May 24th- A day of planned crafts and we feed you lunch. Please RSVP. Don’t miss it this class is always a lot of fun.
